For the months of July and August we recommend the sooner the better, the rest of the year usually two or three weeks before the trip is enough and even one week in advance you will be welcome.

Yes, if there is availability for the new date it will not be a problem.

We’ll kindly ask you to settle the account when you get there. You can also pay the total bill before you arrive at the Surf Camp.

All repeaters have 10% discount and you as a new guest can also benefit from the many offers that we are activating during the year, ask us.

As soon as you inform us about the services you want to hire (usually via e-mail), we will send you the amount, and if you are interested, we will send you the Paypal link to make the payment by credit/debit card or bank transfer.

No. We’d rather send you the link to the bank TV. Once you click on the link, we will ask you to insert some payment details. Everything is executed under a secure connection.

General information about Lanzarote Surf

Our camp is International so we have clients from all over the world with a high percentage of Spaniards.

From November it gets dark at 18:30 and as the months go by it gets dark a little bit later, in Summer it gets around 21:30.

Yeah, we don’t close any month of the year.

We offer surfing, kitesurfing, diving, hiking, yoga and mountain bike rental. 

– Sunscreen.
– Full face shield (you can use “zinc cream” only for sensitive areas such as nose, lips and cheeks.
– Sunglasses and hat.
– Beach towel.
– Earplugs if you have sensitive ears or have a problem with your ears.
– Swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit. 

The temperature in Lanzarote drops a little in the evening so we recommend you bring some warm clothes, especially from November to mid June.

Not for classes, but if you are under 18, we need written consent from your parents or guardians.

About the accommodation

We have in the surfhouse 5, 4, 3, and 2 beds. We will always accommodate you in the most comfortable way possible and avoid putting people from different groups or gender in the same room.

Yes, we provide sheets, blankets and bath towels.

The three surfhouses we have have a fully equipped kitchen. There are also many restaurants, a hamburger restaurant and a supermarket 100 meters away. Those who have booked surf courses will have a lunch on the beach on course days. 

We have accommodation in shared rooms and private rooms in our surfhouses, all less than 100 meters from Famara beach.

Yes, you can book the surfcamp and your companion only accommodation and even accompany you to the beach and spend the days together during the lessons.

About the surf lessons

There is no minimum number of people but there is a maximum of 8 students per surf instructor and 4 beginners with the same level per kite instructor.

Normally classes start the day after your arrival, on Sundays we do not give classes

The classes have a duration of 2.30 hours or 5 hours a day, depending on the program you have chosen, we give theory and practice on the beach, then in the afternoon we will do functional exercises oriented to surfing and progressing quickly, in our gym.

Yes, but only if we have one of the monitors available. We normally give private lessons for a minimum of two people.

No, you can come and go as you please. You can also arrive at the Surfcamp before or after the lessons start.

Yes, of course you can and we will even pick you up from hotels in Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen or Arrecife. We have a free pick-up service for our school for a minimum of two people.

This is an ideal age to start surfing, in fact the best age is 8 or 9 years old. They could start with a private lesson, although in a conventional class they might feel more motivated to learn with other children. We have suits in all sizes for children and “softboards” for beginners. Our surf instructors are qualified by the Canarian and Spanish federations and have a lot of experience with children.

Yes, except Sundays, although if you are a group you can consult us and we could organize it.

Other questions about Surfing and Surf Camp

Yes, the conditions are explained below: 
– We will require your passport or ID card
– Rental hours are from 9:00 to 18:00.
– You must deliver the material before 18:00 

The equipment is included in the classes. You will do two surfing sessions per day, it is normal that you will feel tired afterwards, but if you want to use the material outside the classes you just have to inform us at the reception.

Yes, we have special boards for beginners with foam material, also Bic and Nsp boards of all sizes, epoxy boards, planks, minimalibu and short boards of various sizes. Also neoprene of all sizes.

The Famara beach, the Pier, the Sunken Boat at 2 minutes and the San Juan beach 10 minutes walking.

About 10 km by road with no traffic.

Due to the amount of surf spots there are, you can find waves for all levels.

The coldest is in January and February, it is about 18ºC (we recommend you bring 3/2). In August it is around 22,23ºC and up to 24ºC in September (you can surf only with a swimsuit) and the rest of the year it reaches 18,19ºC (we recommend you bring 3/2).

Yes, most of the spots are made of rock or volcanic lava, only in Famara beach you will be able to surf with all guarantee of NOT hitting a rock, there are also the Garita beach and the Orzola beach of sand although in the ends there are rocks and when it gets big the current can take you to the rocks.

Lanzarote is a very consistent place to surf, in fact it is called the Hawaii of Europe. It has very famous waves and works very well from September to the end of February. For beginners we have good waves all year round as you can always find a few smells on the beach of Famara where you can learn.

The best seasons are autumn, winter.

In Famara you have two ATMs.

In Arrecife, 20 km away.

15 km in Teguise.

A 2 minute walk from the camp or our apartments.

It is not essential but we recommend it to visit the island in the afternoon.

There are 3 shops in the same village.

In our surf house and reception you can connect for free.
