Kitesurfing courses in the Canary Islands, outdoor activities
We are located in the Natural Park Caleta de Famara, a privileged place away from the crowds of tourists you can find elsewhere in Lanzarote. We are located 100 meters from Famara Beach, which has more than 6 kilometers of sand and usually take advantage of low tide to have more space and security in the development and enjoyment of this exciting sport.
Calima Kitesurf School is an official FKI center with IKO level 2 instructors. The school is open 365 days a year and we have courses for all ages and levels, so take a plane and in just two hours of travel you will be practicing this incredible activity and enjoying the good weather that accompanies us throughout the year.

Kitesurfing School by levels
Level 1 (Beginners)
The goal, once you have passed the course is to be able to control the kite in the sand and in the water, autonomous navigation, waterstart and to know the principles of the upwind and its practical application.
Level 2 (Intermediate)
The goal of this course is that once you have passed it, you will be able to reach the necessary knowledge to navigate in three directions and perform the first maneuvers.
Level 3 (Advanced)
Improving the body position. The control of the kite power and the necessary movement techniques in both parts of the wind window.
The control of the board edge to be able to accelerate and brake while in the water. Knowing how to return to the starting point, changing direction smoothly without losing acceleration and making your first jumps.
Multiadventure Camp (Surf & Kitesurf)
Would you like to learn to surf and kitesurf with us? In our Kitesurf School we organize different types of camps for young people and adults. This course is designed for all those beginners who want to know both disciplines, or who are not sure which sport can attract you the most.
